Therapeutic Counselling

Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or a general sense of being stuck, counselling and psychotherapy can provide a safe, supportive space to explore these challenges, helping you feel more grounded, connected, and in control of your life.

What is counselling?

Counselling focuses on the challenges you’re facing right now—what’s happening in the present. It’s about helping you navigate difficult emotions, gain clarity, and find relief from what may feel overwhelming. This approach is often short-term and works with what’s immediately “in the room” during each session.

What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy invites deeper exploration. It looks at how your past experiences, relationships, and beliefs may be shaping your current life. Through this process, you can uncover patterns, develop a deeper connection with yourself, and create meaningful, long-term change. Psychotherapy often works at an open-ended pace, addressing more complex or deeply rooted issues.

How I Integrate Counselling and Psychotherapy

In my practice, I draw on both counselling and psychotherapy, tailoring our sessions to your unique needs. Some people come to me for support with immediate concerns, such as managing stress or navigating grief. Others are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their patterns. Together, we’ll work in a way that feels right for you—whether that’s focusing on the present or exploring the deeper layers of your story.

I incorporate a person-centred approach, offering a compassionate and non-judgmental space for all parts of your experience. I also integrate experiential techniques where appropriate, helping you connect with your emotions and bodily awareness to process feelings more fully and develop greater self-understanding.

What to expect

Working with me is a collaborative process. I provide a warm, supportive space where you can reflect, process, and grow at your own pace. Our sessions might focus on specific challenges you’re facing or open the door to more profound exploration. The therapeutic relationship we build together will offer the foundation for healing, growth, and greater ease in navigating life’s challenges.
